Integrative Massage Technique
Each session of our integrative massage is tailored to your specific needs at the time of your visit. Whether you have specific areas that have pain or tightness, or would like a full body relaxation treatment, the various techniques are integrated to provide relief and achieve your goals for each individual session. Each session will cater to your specific and unique needs for the time frame that you choose. The techniques include but are not limited to: Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release/Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Pin and Stretch, ROM and Swedish Massage. I may also work hand in hand with your chiropractor for a total integrative approach to your treatment plan of care.
ACE Massage Cupping
During a massage cupping session, small cups are placed on the skin to create suction. The suction causes the skin and superficial muscle layer to be lightly drawn into the cup loosening the muscles and tissue. By creating suction and vacuum pressure, ACE Massage Cupping is used to soften tight muscles, loosen adhesions and bring hydration and blood flow to the body tissues. The creation of vacuum pressure allows the suction to go deep into the body tissues to bring deep inflammation, excess fluids and toxins to the surface for release. The suction can affect tissues up to four inches deep from the external skin to help treat pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, trigger points, and swelling.
Our office is equipped with a specialized pregnancy table the allow pregnant women to lay face down to achieve the full massage experience. A prenatal massage can help to provide the muscular relaxation to women through pregnancy. Gentle pressure is applied to the areas that a woman feels need to be addressed.
The full body stretching protocol utilizes a gentle stretch technique that your massage therapist will apply with a series of stretch and hold maneuvers to your major muscle groups one at a time. With the help of our massage therapist, a controlled and effective stretch is achieved through your tissues. This is performed to enhance flexibility, mobility and range of motion and to promote a comfortable muscle tone. Stretching is such a valuable tool and we believe it plays a large role in enhancing overall health.
